AI Transparency
Sona News is transparent that it may use AI-assisted tools in its publishing workflow. The purpose is to support clarity, localisation, speed of production checks, and visual illustration, not to remove editorial responsibility.
Where AI may be used
- Research organisation and source triage.
- Draft assistance, rewriting for clarity, headline testing, and proofreading.
- Localisation support for language editions, followed by editorial review.
- Structured metadata, schema, sitemap, and quality checks.
- Illustrative images that are disclosed as AI-generated.
Editorial responsibility
Sona News remains responsible for article framing, factual claims, sourcing, publication decisions, and corrections. AI output must not be treated as a source of fact by itself.
AI-assisted content must follow the same rules as any other article: no invented sources, no fake quotes, no misleading headlines, and no unsupported factual claims.
Images
AI-generated visuals are used as illustrations. They should not be used to fabricate evidence, impersonate real people, misrepresent a real scene, or imply that an event was photographed when it was not.
