Corrections Policy
If a story contains a material error, Sona News will review it and correct the record as clearly as possible.
How to request a correction
Email [email protected] with the subject “Correction request” plus the article URL, the sentence or claim at issue, and the source or evidence supporting the request.
What we correct
- Material factual errors.
- Incorrect dates, names, figures, source references, or descriptions.
- Substantial missing context when the omission changes the meaning of the story.
- Misleading presentation of an image, headline, label, or update note.
Updates and notes
Minor edits for grammar, formatting, or clarity may be made without a correction note. Material corrections should be reflected in the article or its update metadata where appropriate.
