Privacy Policy
Sona News is operated from France. This policy explains the reader data we may process as the site develops.
Current site state
Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled to understand aggregate readership patterns. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use client-side state such as cookies or localStorage and is not used by Sona News to identify individual readers.
The newsletter signup form stores submitted email addresses with consent text, signup timestamp, source URL, status and an unsubscribe token on Sona News infrastructure. Newsletter campaign sending is not yet automated.
Data we may process
- Aggregated website analytics such as page views, referrers, countries, devices, and performance signals from Cloudflare Web Analytics.
- Email address and consent timestamp if a reader subscribes to a newsletter.
- Unsubscribe status and source page for newsletter compliance.
- Basic technical logs from hosting, security, or analytics providers.
- Messages sent to Sona News email addresses.
