Careers & Language Contributors
Sona News is preparing a multilingual expansion. We are not listing open salaried roles today; this page is a transparent invitation for potential language editors, localisation reviewers, and contributors to register interest for future editions.
What Sona is preparing
- English is the first live edition; additional language editions are planned gradually rather than launched all at once.
- Future editions may need local-language review, cultural context, headline adaptation, and regional source awareness.
- The goal is to keep Sona useful and locally understandable as it expands beyond English.
Profiles we may need
- Language editors who can review translated or localised stories for tone, accuracy, and natural phrasing.
- Localisation reviewers for French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, and other future editions.
- Regional contributors or researchers who can flag important sources, context, and reader questions in their market.
- Audience, SEO, and social editors with experience adapting international news for local readers.
Current status
This is not a promise of immediate employment and it should not be read as a live job advertisement. Sona is building a small talent pool before opening any formal paid roles.
Any future paid opening should be published with a clear scope, process, compensation basis, and contact route before applications are requested.
Register interest
Email [email protected] with the subject “Language desk interest”. Include your working languages, location or time zone, relevant editorial or translation experience, and links to public work if available.
Sona will never ask candidates to pay application fees, buy equipment through a third party, or send sensitive identity documents through social media messages.
